The Scarecrow’s six Perfect Souls

Three are free on the Basic track, three need the Explorer Pass. The free 5★ Soul sits in the Mythical Zone, so it is worth pushing that far even without the Pass.

The champion himself comes from the Ingenious Titan Event, which started the same day: 910 Titan Points from 5 to 11 October, then 840 more from 12 to 22 October. Every milestone needs 1,500 of the 1,750, so you can miss a few sources and still finish. The track also holds his Avatar, a Fusion Token and Radiant Sunlilies.

He is valued for Chimera, the Sand Devil’s Necropolis and some Arena teams: he cuts his allies’ skill cooldowns and revives a champion under Block Damage.

How the Frontier works

The map is split into five Zones, one per rarity. Each Outpost holds four Quests, and every Quest you finish earns one Frontier Point.

Outposts open next to each other. You can enter an Outpost once you have completed one beside it and earned enough Points for its Zone. The Final Outpost opens only when every other Outpost is complete.

Work only counts where it is open. A win, clear or craft counts for every open Outpost that asks for it, and nothing for one that is still locked. That one rule is what the route below is built on.

Dungeon Quests mean 10 clears. “Clear Stage 10 of the Dragon’s Lair on Hard” asks for that stage 10 times; the game shows the count once the Outpost is open. Quests that say “a” or “an” are not always once: Outpost 9’s champion skill Quest counts to 3, so trust the game’s counter.

Two reward tracks. Everyone earns the Basic rewards. The paid Explorer Pass adds a second reward to each Outpost.

The double-dip route

Open several Outposts before doing the work they share, and one battle ticks them all. A harder stage also counts for an “or higher” Quest. This order does that across the whole map.

  1. Step 1 You are here Done 1

Clear Outpost 1. Nothing else is open yet, so there is nothing to share. It opens Outposts 2 and 9.

  2. Step 2 You are here Done 2 9

Finish Outpost 9, which opens 18. In Outpost 2, do everything except the 10 Classic Arena wins.

  3. Step 3 You are here Done 2 18
    • Win 10 Classic Arena battles → counts for 2 Outposts at once (2, 18)

That finishes Outpost 2, which opens 3.

  4. Step 4 You are here Done 3 18
    • Level one Rank 3 or higher champion to max → counts for 2 Outposts at once (3, 18)
    • Upgrade 10 Artifacts to Level 8 → counts for 2 Outposts at once (3, 18)

Finish Outpost 18 (Arcane Keep), which opens 19. In Outpost 3, leave the Force Keep and Campaign Quests for later.

  5. Step 5 You are here Done 3 19

Finish Outpost 19. It opens both 11 and 27.

  6. Step 6 You are here Done 3 11 27

Finish Outpost 27. In Outpost 11, do the Arcane Keep and the champion Quest, but hold its Campaign and Rank-up. That gives you the 25 Points Outposts 28 and 36 need.

  7. Step 7 You are here Done 3 11 28 36
    • Win 10 Campaign battles on Brutal → counts for 3 Outposts at once (3, 11, 36)
    • Clear Force Keep Stage 19 or higher, 10 times → counts for 2 Outposts at once (3, 28)
    • Rank up one Rank 4 or higher champion → counts for 2 Outposts at once (11, 36)

Finish Outposts 3 and 11 (11 opens 12). Do Outpost 12’s three non-Arena Quests, then finish 28, which opens 21 and 37 once you have 40 Points. Keep Outpost 36 open: its Dragon’s Lair and Live Arena Quests wait.

  8. Step 8 You are here Done 12 21 37
    • Win 50 Classic Arena battles → counts for 3 Outposts at once (12, 21, 37)
    • Clear Phantom Shogun’s Grove Stage 25, 10 times → counts for 2 Outposts at once (21, 37)

    Finish all three. 12 opens 13, 37 opens 38 and 21 opens 22. Those 50 wins replace 100.

  9. Step 9 You are here Done 13 22 36 38
    • Craft 10 Rank 5 or higher Epic, Legendary or Mythical Artifacts → counts for 2 Outposts at once (13, 38)
    • Clear Dragon’s Lair Stage 25 or higher, 10 times → counts for 2 Outposts at once (22, 36)

Finish Outpost 13. In Outpost 22, do everything except the Live Arena Quest, then finish 38: that opens 30 and, with 60 Points, 46.

  10. Step 10 You are here Done 30 46
    • Craft 30 Rank 6 Legendary or Mythical Artifacts → counts for 2 Outposts at once (30, 46)
    • Level one Rank 4 or higher Relic to max → counts for 2 Outposts at once (30, 46)

Finish Outpost 30, which opens 31. Finish 46 whenever suits you.

  11. Step 11 You are here Done 22 31 36
    • Win 30 Live Arena battles → counts for 3 Outposts at once (22, 31, 36)

That replaces 60 wins. Finish all three; 31 opens 40.

  12. Step 12 You are here Done 40 47 Final 48

Nothing left to share: finish 40, then 47, then the Final Outpost. Outposts 47 and 48 both ask for Dragon’s Lair Hard Stage 10, and 48 only opens after 47, so that one is done twice.

Holding an Outpost open only delays its rewards; Points still come from every Quest you finish, and the route keeps you above each Zone’s threshold. A Point or two short at a step? Do the unshared Quests of whatever is open first.

Dungeon Quests are shown as ×10 clears: confirmed in-game for Outpost 1 and, as far as we know, the same for the rest. Spot something different in your game? We update this page as the event runs.

Do it once: what to hold until its Outpost opens

A Quest only counts once its Outpost is open. Do any of these too early and you will do them twice.

Glyphs

Four Legendary Outposts ask you to push an artifact substat with Glyphs: ATK% +5, SPD +5, ACC +10 and RES +10. Glyphs used before those Outposts open do not count.

Forge crafting

Crafting Quests ask for 10 Rank 5 artifacts, 30 Legendary or Mythical, 10 Epic or better and 30 Rank 6. Craft after the Outpost opens, and while two that share the work are open together.

Rank-ups and ascensions

Rank-ups, level-ups to max, ascensions, awakenings and skill upgrades make up 19 of the Quests. Keep a few half-fed champions waiting rather than finishing them early.

Arena wins

The map asks for 150 Classic Arena, 60 Live Arena and 50 Tag Team Arena wins. Wins only count for Outposts that are open, which is why the route opens several before you fight.

Dungeon runs

Every Outpost has a dungeon Quest of 10 clears. The Mythical Zone wants Stage 10 on Hard of Spider’s Den, Fire Knight’s Castle, Ice Golem’s Peak and Dragon’s Lair.

Demon Lord keys

Four Quests ask you to fight the Demon Lord: Normal, Hard, Nightmare and finally Ultra-Nightmare. A fight counts, win or lose, so one key on the right difficulty is enough.

RSLExtreme

Let the Arena and Demon Lord Quests fill themselves

16 of the 88 Quests ask for Classic, Tag Team or Live Arena wins or Demon Lord fights. RSLExtreme runs all four for you today, so those Quests tick over while you do the dungeons, crafting and champion work. See what it does in each arena.

Your resources stay yours. Nothing is spent without your say-so, and never past the limit you set.

Frightful Frontier questions

When does Frightful Frontier start and end?
Frightful Frontier runs from 5 October to 23 October 2026 in RAID: Shadow Legends, starting and ending at 10:30 UTC, and its rewards can be claimed until 24 October, 10:30 UTC.
How do Outposts unlock in Frightful Frontier?
Each Quest you complete earns one Frontier Point. To open an Outpost you need to have completed an Outpost next to it and have enough Points for its Zone: 15 for Rare, 25 for Epic, 40 for Legendary and 60 for Mythical. The Final Outpost opens only once every other Outpost is complete.
How many times do I clear the dungeon Quests in Frightful Frontier?
Ten. The Quest text leaves the number out, for example “Clear Stage 10 of the Dragon’s Lair on Hard”, but the game counts each dungeon Quest to 10 clears and shows your progress once the Outpost is open. Quests worded with “a” or “an” do not always mean once: the game counts some of them several times (Outpost 9’s champion skill Quest counts to 3), so check the counter in the game once the Outpost is open.
What is the best route through Frightful Frontier?
Open several Outposts before doing the work they share, because one Arena win, dungeon clear or craft counts for every open Outpost that asks for it. Our step-by-step route does that across the whole map: about 90 Classic Arena wins instead of 150, 30 Live Arena wins instead of 60 and 40 Forge crafts instead of 80.
Where are The Scarecrow’s Perfect Souls on the Frontier map?
The 1★ Perfect Soul is in Outpost 3, the 3★ in Outpost 21 and the 5★ in Outpost 31, all on the free Basic track. The 2★ (Outpost 19), 4★ (Outpost 37) and 6★ (the Final Outpost, 48) are Explorer Pass rewards.
What is the Explorer Pass?
The Explorer Pass is the paid reward track of the Frontier Event. Every player earns the Basic rewards; Explorer Pass holders also collect a second reward from each Outpost, including three of The Scarecrow’s six Perfect Souls and a themed Avatar Frame.
How do I get The Scarecrow himself?
The Scarecrow is the reward of the Ingenious Titan Event, which runs alongside Frightful Frontier from 5 October. It needs 1,500 Titan Points out of 1,750 on offer across two parts. Frightful Frontier then gives you his Perfect Souls to ascend him.
Does this page remember my progress?
Yes. Tick Quests as you finish them and the map works out your Points, which Outposts you can open next and where you are on the route. Your ticks stay in this browser; Copy link carries them to another device.
Can RSLExtreme help with Frightful Frontier?
Yes, with the repetitive part. 16 of the 88 Quests ask for Classic, Tag Team or Live Arena wins or Demon Lord fights, and RSLExtreme runs all four for you. You pick the Outposts and claim their rewards in the game yourself.
Is using a bot for RAID events against the rules?
Automation is against Plarium’s terms of service, and no tool can promise otherwise. We explain what that means, and how RSLExtreme keeps your resources safe, in our honest guide to whether botting RAID is safe.
